Pumps & Pistons

Fuel infrastructure for Minecraft: find oil, extract it with compact or large pumpjacks, refine petrol and diesel, store liquids, and supply a fuel station with manual or motor-driven transfer pumps. Use jerry cans and dispenser hoses to fuel supported vehicles. An illustrated in-game manual explains the production chain.

main contains the released 1.11.0 source for Minecraft 26.2, together with the source index and project documentation. Choose the matching immutable tag or target branch for Minecraft 26.1.2 or 26.3. New unfinished work stays on dev/<minecraft>.

Install

  1. Install Fabric Loader, Fabric API and Java 25 for your Minecraft version.
  2. Download the matching complete Pumps & Pistons JAR from Modrinth and put it in mods on the client and server.
  3. For vehicles, also install the matching Automobility Unofficial Port. P&P already embeds its vehicle integration; a separate legacy adapter is not required. Powerworks provides optional electricity and motor integration.

Use the dependencies declared on the selected Modrinth release. Do not mix Minecraft targets or install a standalone Momentum copy alongside a unified Automobility release.

The complete release/source index covers all 22 currently published P&P versions, including older alpha and beta releases. It records Modrinth IDs, artifact SHA256/SHA512, commits and provenance limits. Historical tags are preserved. The 1.11.0 public releases retain an internal 1.11.0-beta.1 version/file name; this source export keeps that original identity.

Stable and development

  • release/1.11.0/<minecraft>: recovered release implementation and resources for that target, with a documented portable build configuration.
  • v<version>+<minecraft>: immutable released-source snapshots; the historical v1.9.0 spelling is retained.
  • dev/26.1.2, dev/26.2, dev/26.3: explicit working checkpoints. These begin at the published implementation; Roadworks, the new 21-language work and current drivetrain/Cinema experiments are not silently merged into stable.

Build

Use a release branch/tag for the required target. The project uses Java 25, Gradle 9.6.0 and Fabric Loom 1.17.14 for 1.11.0. The checked-in Gradle wrapper bootstraps Gradle; it does not vendor Minecraft, Automobility or Fabric dependencies.

On Windows use gradlew.bat. Only the parent P&P JAR is distributed; the integration is embedded. Read BUILD.md and provenance/release-inputs.json in a release snapshot for the original SDK pin, the public dependency configuration and any archive metadata derivation. Publishing these sources is not a claim that a fresh build has reproduced the original ZIP bytes.

Contribute and report issues

Use Offchunk issues for bugs. Include the P&P, Minecraft, Fabric API and optional integration versions, a short reproduction and the relevant log excerpt; remove private player/server details.

The source publication workflow describes explicit development checkpoints and the release source gate. Source changes, tags and published JARs remain separate records.

License

Original P&P code, documentation and runtime assets are available under the MIT license; see NOTICE.md for interoperability and third-party notices. Dependencies retain their own licenses and are not bundled into this source checkout. This project is independent of Mojang, Microsoft and the upstream mods it integrates with.

The full SHA-512, exact source commit and portable717 assembly manifest are linked in the source index. The three release IDs and public artifact hashes have been verified against Modrinth. These tags were not freshly Gradle-rebuilt during source export.
